Attorney Gurrera has been named a “Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney” for the state of Pennsylvania by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, Inc.
The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, Inc. (NAOPIA) is an organization based in Washington, DC dedicated to recognizing the top Personal Injury attorneys across the nation and sharing their findings with the public.
Through championing young personal injury attorneys, equipping qualified attorneys with continuing education, and providing the public with knowledgeable attorneys, the NAOPIA connects more people in need of representation and promotes greater opportunities for attorneys.
When nominating the top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys Under 40 by state, the NAOPIA takes the following criteria into consideration:
1. The attorneys must first be nominated by a licensed practicing attorney or by a NAOPIA research staff member.
2. The nominated individuals must meet the minimum requirements of membership in the NAOPIA through a verification process.
3. The individual must be selected by the NAOPIA processing committee, with one portion of the nominated attorneys having to agree for the individual to advance to the final selection stage.
4. The individual must be licensed and in good standing in the state
5. The individual must be in private practice
6. The individual must devote a significant portion of practice to Personal Injury
7. A great number of client reviews, peer reviews, case outcomes, published books or scholarly articles, education, and personal awards are taken into consideration.
This award is a great honor, and one which is difficult to achieve. As stated by the NAOPIA, “Very few attorneys (less than 1%) that are good enough to make our list have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of knowledge, skill, experience, expertise and success in their practice of Personal Injury.”
